Isles Campaigning for Another Victory Over Senators

The Islanders will return home Saturday night to face Daniel Alfredsson, Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza yet again. The Isles and Senators have already gone up against each other twice this month, with the Isles sweeping their only home-and-home series of the year.
In the first match, Trent Hunter's unassisted, team-leading seventh goal of the season proved to be the game winner. In the second meeting, Joey MacDonald stopped 38 of 40 shots, as New York held on for a 3-2 win.
Saturday night’s game is shaping up to be a duel between Alfredsson and Doug Weight. Coming into the ‘08-‘09 season, Alfredsson collected 45 points in 45 career contests against the Isles, while Weight tallied 23 points in 22 all-time tussles with
the Senators.
